A Bubble

On Aquatic Ecologies and Merfolk

Imagining a shared future exploring the meaning of “Amphibious Humanity”; through a suspended kinetic sculpture, spatial audio, and volume renderings on “A Bubble” that reacts to live buoy data. Recordings were collected in and around the Bay of Valsaline in Pula, Croatia during a field trip in April of 2026. Inspired by diving culture and marine folklore, the installation invites visitors to imagine multispecies coexistence in aquatic ecologies.
