About
I’m Samantha Pan, an interaction and information designer from San José, Costa Rica, based in Zurich. I’m currently studying for an MA in Interaction Design with a minor in Immersive Arts and Storytelling at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
I trained as an industrial design engineer at the Tecnológico de Costa Rica, with an emphasis on communication and UX/UI design, and as a photographer. My work ranges from interactive installations and games to apps, websites and maps that turn accurate data into easy-to-read visual information.
Alongside design, I create content as @paanncito for an audience of more than 87,000 people.

Conceptualised and designed a wall map about immigration, transforming accurate data into easy-to-read visual information. Designed and prototyped a digital scavenger hunt for a history museum, from user research and client requirements through to the interface design system. Worked as quality control for design accessibility in multiple digital exhibitions for a science museum.
